Mithu Alur, an activist fighting for the rights of the disabled, believes that inclusive education is a must to ensure that children who face barriers to learning become part of the social mainstream. The state has to take the lead for this to happen, Alur tells Madhusudan Srinivas and Chirdeep Bagga:
