Mani Kaul hasn't directed a movie for several years now. The experimental film-maker (Uski Roti, Duvidha, Satah Se Uthta Aadmi) has been teaching films and video in American universities. In New Delhi recently, he talks to Avijit Ghosh about his work, the Mumbai film industry and more:
