To be very frank, i didn't know that it was children's day, and normally i don't give much importance to these types of anniversaries which usually are clouded by controversies and unnecessary argument's, But today was different.
I was tagged by a very close friend of mine on Facebook, and he suggested something which i couldn't ignore and i quote his words exactly:
" Just a thought please spare sometime on this... 14th November Childrens Day... so what ? Is there anything tat we can do.... hmmmm
Nothings really... Or maybe something... Interesting, what can i do ???
Let me feed 1 street child today... buy a burger while i am on the move and probably see a child on signal or any junction and feed him/her the same. While i do it, i should also do the following 3 things:
(1) Ask the child's name
(2) Ask if he/she likes to beg
(3) Ask if he/she has some aspirations to get education.
(2) Ask if he/she likes to beg
(3) Ask if he/she has some aspirations to get education.
That's it, if you feel anything beyond for the child then share the details of that child with a NGO close to you. Lets do it.... I always believe for a successful action we need a human chain and hence i am tagging very few friends of mine whom i want to take up this challenge today and if they believe that it was worth it then share the same with friends on your list by tagging your friends to do what you have done...
Spread the Joy, Be the reason for someones smile... Stay Blessed Forever."
The reason i wanted to add his quotes here is that it really needs to be our responsibility to see what our future generations are going to be. The other more important points are that some of these children are professional's and they beg, just because their parents are professional beggars, and they make much more then we do.
But we all know that these types of children majority of them, are kidnapped and operated by the begging mafia, which tends to rip them off, and keep them as they are, and nothing is given to them. If we could just get one child out of the poverty they are in. You never know who these children are, they could be the leaders of our country, they could be the next best thing that they could happen to this country. The diamonds are rough rocks before they are polished to become they become a stone of value. Life is not easy, its not even easy for us, who have a roof over our head, food to eat. So how do you think is their life is.......
MAKE A DIFFERENCE...... I KNOW I WILL TRY....... BUT I KNOW YOU CAN
