We all carry on with our lives, as there is nothing new that has happened that particular day. This is not for one day, but this is about everyday. You really have to ponder over what i am talking about.
If you notice that if in our community, our state and our country, if something has been gained or achieved that deserves recognition, but there are so many, who want to take credit for the same, when these people have hardly anything to achieve the same. But the people who have done are forgotten and sent off in the wilderness. Only a few like Sachin Tendulkar or Dhoni will keep getting their names in the headlines all the time.
Nowadays you have noticed that our esteemed Prime Minister Mr. Modi has initiated the cleanliness drive. He didnt need to initiate it at all, because that is our civic duty to keep our communities and cities clean. I feel really obnoxious when i see all these politicians putting a garbage of leaves and cleaning the same just for a photo-op.
My point was not to criticize these individuals, it is a good thing, but we have to forgotten on how and on whose shoulders the city runs. Definitely the politicians who make certain rules that we have to follow, but it is not a one sided thing, they should follow the same. They need not cross a red light when they dont have an emergency to reach somewhere. It is also their civic duty, and they are hear to serve us.
But the point of the matter is that we tender to forget the people who clean our seats and get their hands in the dirt of our houses that we pile in the dustbins for them to be taken of.. This is a job that they do, and if they dont clean it, then there will be dreadful diseases that can spread, so i thank these people first.
The second set of people i would like to thank is the medical profession guys, who take care of us. I am specifically talking about the nurses who tend to our wounds and help us when we are ourselves helpless and they clean our mess. This is something i on a personal level dont even want to witness. I would rather die, then go through this of someone cleaning me. But sometimes there is no choice. I sincerely thank these individuals.
The last i have kept the best is the teachers, who have taught us everything, and they are the most set of individuals who help us lay our foundations in life, and they teach us more than what our parents can teach us. We learn discipline from them, and they are our true guides to face challenges of the world that lies in front of us. Again i thank these individuals.
The last ones i would like to thank is my parents who selflessly take care of me from my birth until they breathe their last breath. They imbibe in us true teachings. They are our first and last teachers. We need to respect them, and keep them happy irrespective of whatever circumstances arise. Because i know that they will never leave my side, if i am in a helpless situation. Thank you MOM & DAD.
I hope that you OUTLIVE ME TOO
